 What are the benefits of Microdermabrasion  ?  It leaves skin with a fresher, more glowing look.  Diminishes sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, and coarse textured skin.  It makes it easy for high-tech skin care products to actually penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and help build collagen, which gives skin its youthful appearance. Microdermabrasion is also known as particle resurfacing, power peel, derma-peel or Parisian peel. It takes about 75 minutes including a 30 minute facial and there's no down-time for the skin to recover. That's why it's also sometimes called a "lunchtime peel."

How  does Microdermabrasion Work ? Microdermabrasion uses a powerful device to spray microcrystals of aluminum dioxide (corundum powder) across the skin’s surface. The aluminum dioxide is a very fine, very hard, sand-like material that blasts away the uppermost layer of dead skin cells on the skin's epidermis. Microdermabrasion is not be painful. After the treatment, the technician vacuums away the traces of the corundum powder.

When to arrive

Please arrive 10 mins prior to your appointment (new  day spa  guests -15 mins please). This will allow time to fill out your treatment card and for  day spa  guests to change into a robe. Our appointments diary is scheduled to allow time for each  client treatment so that everybody  can fully enjoy their booking. Arriving late may reduce your  relaxation time spent with us and ultimately your customer experience.  Treatment times may include a consultation. 

Hygiene

All towels, robes, shampoos and soaps are provided for your personal use. We ask that all guests wear bathers whilst using our hydrotheraphy spa, and to shower prior to use.

Deposits & Cancellations

All hair, beauty and spa bookings of $99 or more require a minimum of  50% deposit payment. We understand that some things in life are beyond our control, and you may need to change your appointment. When this happends, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to give us a reasonable chance of filling the empty booking with a different client. Cancellations or missed appointments, without 48 hours notice, will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total charge of the booking . Gift vouchers will be be condidered to be redeemed or spent without 48 hours notice of cancellation or for a missed appointment. By agreeing to  your appointment, you acknowledge and accept these terms.  

Health Concerns

Please inform your therapist of any health concerns whilst completing your treatment card, we do not recommend treatments for ladies in their first trimester of pregnancy, our fully trained therapists will advise on special conditions.

Gift Vouchers  for women & men 

Our Gift Vouchers can be used upto 6 months after purchase. They are all personalised and can be written out for any package, treatment or cash amount. Vouchers can be posted out, and the recipient  simply has to call to make a booking with their voucher.

As a pre-event treat or on the big day itself, we offer a fantastic Bridal or Formal Spa, Hair, makeup and Beauty package.  We recommend a rehersal for  wedding hair & makeup, and our fashion department carries exclusive ranges of original Formal and special occasion wear.
